Paola Lenti exhibit at LongHouse Reserve

A bond of art, nature, and finest outdoor living

Paola Lenti, an Italian company that have become an international benchmark for their innovative vision of the outdoor world, distinctive design products, and unique interpretation of colour, accept LongHouse Reserve’s invitation to furnish the vast open spaces in the Hamptons. Here, art, history, and culture, immersed in nature, become a benefit for the community.

Founded by artist and collector Jack Lenor Larsen (1927-2020), LongHouse Reserve is now a public institution serving the community with cultural programs and initiatives that, by involving various disciplines, focus on people’s well-being.
Paola Lenti’s collaboration with LongHouse Reserve stems from a shared love and respect for nature, a mutual belief in the positive impact of art in all its forms on humanity, and the value of craftsmanship as a privileged means of bringing objects to life.

Displayed in six different areas, Paola Lenti’s unique products establish a harmonious dialogue with nature, creating an oasis of peace for all who seek rest and inspiration. The craftsmanship, the natural woods incorporated into the products, unprecedented textures and colours, as well as durable and sustainable technical fabrics, define refined outdoor living spaces.

Through gardens, furnishings, and sculptures, Paola Lenti and LongHouse Reserve guide each visitor on a journey of discovery and contemplation of the surrounding beauty created by the union of art and nature.

Pavilion

In the Pavilion area, with large openable windows overlooking the outdoor spaces, the neutral and natural colours of the Kabà, Orlando, and Vespucci sofas harmonize with the tops of the Giro tables and the orange-bordeaux tones of the Telar armchairs and Maglia Rasata cushions. The result is a relaxing environment of welcoming and sophisticated elegance.

Breezeway

The Breezeway, open on two sides, is a space suspended between exterior and interior, ideal for hosting informal gatherings. The modular Net rug, orange with bright green accents, along with the Harbour sofas, define a living area recognized for its balanced combination of fabrics, materials, colours, and textures. Completing the setting are two Telar armchairs and Giro tables with Sciara tops in intense orange and green tones.

Terrace

On the terrace located on the first floor of the modernist building that housed Jack Lenor Larsen’s residence, the Ami armchairs, Tobit poufs, and Giro and Strap tables create two perfectly symmetrical dining areas. Around the Sunset tables, the weaves of the Telar chairs add delightful notes of turquoise green.

Pool

Along the long, narrow rectangular pool in front of the house entrance, the Bistrò parasols, Otto poufs, and Telar armchairs subtly accentuate the surrounding green, blue, and turquoise tones of nature, creating an elegant outdoor living area.

Pond

A vast grass expanse surrounds a picturesque large pond. Here, the Telar armchairs dot the natural setting with vibrant accents of yellow, lime, fuchsia, and orange.

Buckminster Fuller Lawn

The Fly’s Eye Dome, an architecture-sculpture designed by Buckminster Fuller, identifies LongHouse Reserve as a place where art and nature meet. Under the Dome, Otto poufs of various shapes and sizes dot the lawn with bright shades of green.
